Three Milwaukee-area restaurants have made Yelp's Top 100 Brunch Spots of 2024 list.

Mad Rooster Cafe , 4401 W. Greenfield Ave., took the 47th spot on the list. Honey Butter Cafe , 7221 S. 76th St. in Franklin was ranked 58th. SweetDiner , 239 E. Chicago St., was ranked 88th.

Yelp identified businesses in the breakfast and brunch category with a "large concentration of reviews" that mentioned the word "brunch" and "Mother's Day," because several restaurants mentioned Mother's Day was their busiest day of the year.

Yelp then ranked those spots using "a number of factors," like the total volume of ratings of reviews that mentioned those key words in the last three years.

Mad Rooster has locations in Milwaukee and Kenosha. Its menu includes traditional breakfast items like skillet scrambles, eggs benedicts, frittatas and more. Prices for entrees average around $15.

Honey Butter Cafe offers pancakes, waffles — including fried chicken and waffles — skillets and a "lighter side" menu that includes yogurt, avocado bowls and puddings. Honey Butter Cafe also offers a lunch menu with salads and burgers.

Sweet Diner , in Milwaukee's Third Ward, serves American brunch and lunch classics. Prices for brunch entrees average around $15.
