    School bus ends in embankment after losing control

    White Deer Township, Pa. — A Milton School District school bus crashed early Friday morning, after the driver lost control.

    According to PSP Milton, the crash occurred just before 7 a.m. The bus exited the right side of River Road in White Deer Township and was traveling north when the passenger wheel encountered eroded ground next to the fogline and asphalt.

    The bus, of Fishing Creek Transportation, abruptly swerved, hitting a guiderail, sideswiping a utility pole, and finally coming to rest down an embankment, a news release reported.

    There were no children yet on board and the driver was unharmed, police said. An adult passesnger seated behind the driver was transported to Evangelical Community Hospital for a possbile shoulder injury.
