The sandwich chain knocked Chick-fil-A from the top of the fast-food customer-satisfaction rankings, ending an 11-year streak. Jersey Mike's debuted at No. 1 in the 2026 American Customer Satisfaction Index , edging Chick-fil-A by one point. The ranking comes as restaurants face tougher competition for increasingly cost-conscious customers. Here's what helped Jersey Mike's take the crown and where to find the chain in Ohio and Kentucky. Why is Jersey Mike's ranked higher than Chick-fil-A? Jersey Mike's earned a score of 84, topping Chick-fil-A at 83 and emerging as the new leader in customer satisfaction among fast-food chains. The ranking is based on 16,464 customer surveys conducted between April 2025 and March 2026. Chick-fil-A remains the top-rated chicken chain, but Jersey Mike’s stood out for freshness, menu variety and value, the report said. The chain added 238 locations in 2025 and reached $4.2 billion in systemwide sales. The report notes the sub chain has maintained quality while expanding rapidly. Trader Joe's limited-edition mystery bags return to Indiana stores

Highly anticipated mystery packs of limited-edition Trader Joe’s grocery bags designed to represent various U.S. states and regions will be sold in stores in Indiana on Nov. 4. The packs contain random reusable tote bags made of 100% polypropylene, a recyclable polymer, and feature three random designs. Monrovia, California-based Trader Joe’s sells the mystery packages during the holidays. Each bundle comes in a sealed brown paper bag and retails for $2.99. Unlike bags sold in neighborhood stores, which are typically region-specific, the bags in the mystery packs are from different places around the country or are specialty bags specific to that season’s pack. Most of the Indiana stores said they will not limit the number of bundles customers can buy when they begin sales, but they might implement limits later based on demand. Trader Joe’s stores in Indiana said they have seen a substantial increase in calls about the bag packs this year compared to 2025, when the bags sold out quickly.
