How did Lewes beach names get past so many people?
This poor, benighted resident of Lewes since before I was born is going to enter the Savannah Beach fray, just because I can. I paid no attention to the articles on the Johnnie Walker Beach issue because I am a great fan of that move. So because of that, and it’s on me, I never saw the subtext of the Lewes Beach question. It would have been nice if the articles would have been titled “Both beach names to be changed.” It’s almost as if the beachfront name got lost in the Johnnie Walker discussion. Had I paid closer attention, I too would have been front and center.
