Randolph Fairy Trail To Officially Open June 1
RANDOLPH, NJ- Strolling through the beautiful trails in Randolph will be even more magical this summer, thanks to a community-wide project organized by members of Randolph Mommy and Me to create the first ever Randolph Fairy Trail! With over 100 community members registered to build fairy houses, you can expect to see a wide variety of magical abodes nestled along the trail. Randolph residents, scout troops, businesses and school groups have volunteered to follow strict guidelines to maintain a natural environment with the structures they create. The Randolph Fairy Trail will officially open on June 1 with a free festival and opening ceremony at Brundage Preserve. Hef’s Hut, the bar and grill at the Great Gorge Golf Club, recently reopened with a revamped interior and menu. The eatery–which is open to anyone, not just golfers—offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and boasts a wide view of Vernon Valley. New menu dishes include mini-Philly cheesesteaks, Texas lollipop bites (smoked bratwurst bites wrapped in bacon), and mini-quarry steak samples. The specialty cocktail menu has also been updated.
Colorfully Capturing Growing Interest – Warren County ARTs (WCARTs)!
Recently celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Warren County ARTs organization has seen a surge of interest and membership growth in the last two years. WCARTs is a group of artists located in Warren County which began in 1992. The first meeting was held at Shippen Manor in Oxford when the group of originating artists chose a name and elected officers. Jeffrey Kuhlman was the first president. WCARTs became a legal nonprofit soon after. Some beginning members still participating today are Deette Little, Merle Morse and Peggy Niece.
