    Middletown man arrested for animal cruelty

    BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A man has been arrested in relation to cruelty toward animals.

    The Butler County Sheriff’s Office reports a man was arrested after they found a puppy abandoned in the 700 block of Joe Nuxhall Boulevard in Hamilton.

    The puppy was found on April 24, tied up into a bag. The Butler County Dog Warden recovered the dog and took it to Animal Friends Humane Society.

    The sheriff’s office arrested a man from Middletown in connection to the incident. He is facing charges for cruelty to a companion animal and abandoning animals, both 2nd degree misdemeanors.
