The existence of the 'no-hitter jinx' will be debated among baseball fans until the end of time. Legend has it that when a no-hitter is going on, speaking of it will lead to the end of the no-hitter. Some say it's real. Some say it's baloney. Score one for the believers after what happened Tuesday night on MLB Network.

While tossing to the start of the Marlins-Dodgers game at Dodgers Stadium on Tuesday night, MLB Network's Greg Amsinger decided to call a 'no-hitter alert' for the game before Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto had finished his warm-up pitches. MLB Network threw the graphic up and everything.

Yamamoto's 'no-hitter' didn't even last one pitch. Marlins centerfielder Jazz Chisholm launched the first pitch he saw into the right-center field stands for a solo home run that ended Yamamoto's 'no-hit' and shutout bids all at once.

Perhaps the jinx is real. Perhaps it isn't. Tuesday night for the Dodgers and Yamamoto it was very, very real.
