Iowa High School Girl’s Wrestling Now in Two Classes for 2024-25 Season
(West Des Moines, IA) – The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Board of Directors approved a move that will separate girl’s wrestling into two different classes for the 2024-25 season. This move represents the 64 largest wrestling schools in Class 2A while the remaining schools will compete in Class 1A.

Suspects in two Lafayette Parish homicides indicted on murder charges
A grand jury on Wednesday indicted suspects on murder charges in two separate Lafayette Parish homicides. Dontrell Laray Clark, 23, of Scott, was indicted on a count of second-degree murder in the death of 27-year-old Nathan Bob. Clark is accused of fatally shooting Bob in the 500 block of Orchid Drive the morning of Oct. 29, the Lafayette Police Department said.
