    $100K lottery tickets sold in Meriden, New Haven & Stamford

    CONNECTICUT (WTNH) – Three lucky lottery players won $100,000 each Tuesday from tickets sold in Connecticut.

    Of the two winning Cash5 tickets, one was sold at Checkers Food Store in Meriden, and the other at Track News & Variety in Stamford.

    Who won the $1.13 billion Mega Millions jackpot? Why we may never know

    The winners were both from the towns they bought the tickets in, according to CT Lottery officials.

    A winning Powerball ticket was also sold at Krauzer’s in New Haven. The winner is listed as Richard G. of Lake City, South Carolina.
