Santa Rosa Academy Bomb Threat Prompts Response From Authorities in Menifee

MENIFEE, Calif., Apr. 8 (KNN) — A bomb threat at the Santa Rosa Academy Monday morning prompted a response from authorities, along with a bomb squad.

At 11:10 a.m., the Menifee Police Department received reports of a bomb threat at the Santa Rosa Academy in the 27500 block of La Piedra Road in the city of Menifee.

The Menifee PD, Riverside County Fire Department and AMR ambulances were dispatched to the location.

Upon arrival, Riverside Sheriff’s Bomb Squad was also requested to the location.

According to Menifee PD, no bombs were found at the location but school was concluded for the day with all students being released to their parents.

Santa Rosa Academy is a private charter school that serves more than 1,500 K-12 students.

The incident is under investigation.
