    Keller named program director at radio station WFIT

    Steve Keller recently was named program director at WFIT, the 89.5 FM radio station headquartered at the Florida Institute of Technology.

    As program director, Keller oversees all on-air content.

    Keller is former general manager and program director for WCVF AM/FM at Fredonia State University of New York.

    “I am very grateful for this new opportunity,” Keller said. “I look forward to helping to connect the dots between the many amazing art forms this county has to offer.”

    Aerodyne manager at KSC inducted in college Hall of Fame

    Aerodyne Industries manager Carl Huddleston recently was inducted in the Class of 2024 Hall of Fame by the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Alumni Association. The induction ceremony, which took place in April, was at the OPSU campus at Goodwell, Oklahoma.

    At Aerodyne, Huddleston is manager of Command, Control and Communications Project, Planning and Control for the Consolidated Operations, Management, Engineering & Test (or COMET) contract at Kennedy Space Center.

    A native of Texhoma, Oklahoma, Huddleston graduated from OPSU in 1997, and began a 27-year aerospace career supporting the Space Shuttle program with United Space Alliance in Houston.

    He joined Aerodyne Industries in July 2017, and has distinguished himself with numerous tributes, including NASA’s prestigious Space Flight Awareness Award in 2022 for his support to the Ground and Flight Application Software Team, known as GFAST.

    “I was truly overwhelmed with gratitude and emotion upon learning of my induction into the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Hall of Fame,” he said. “As I reflect on this moment, I am filled with a sense of pride for being a part of the OPSU legacy. This institution not only provided me with an education, but also instilled in me values of excellence, perseverance and community.”

    Childrey named regional director at Lilac Health Group

    Stephanie Childrey recently was named as regional director of business development at The Lilac Health Group, an operator of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout Florida. The Lilac Health Group is headquartered in Lake Mary.

    Childrey, a Rockledge resident, has held a number of positions in the health care industry, including work at Gulf Coast Health Care, Sanford Health and Sound Physicians.

    Childrey graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in health services administration. She received her Master of Business Administration from Webster University.

    Garcia receives Spirit of Patriotism, Seven Seals Awards

    Katie Garcia , principal consultant at KDG Support, recently received two awards: the Spirit of Patriotism Award by the Human Resources Florida State Council Inc. and the Seven Seals Award from the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve.

    The Spirit of Patriotism Award honors a Florida-based human resources professional who has demonstrated exceptional support for the Guard and Reserve by educating themselves, their employer and their local Society for Human Resource Management chapter, making a positive impact on military employees and their organization's culture.

    The Seven Seals Award is the broadest and most inclusive award given by Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve, presented in recognition of significant achievements or support that promotes the ESGR mission. This award acknowledges both individual and organizational initiatives that enhance the national support structure for the Guard and Reserve through their efforts.

    Garcia holds a Master of Business Administration from Regent University, and has more than 18 years of experience in corporate human resources and recruitment.

    The Miami Dolphins, owned by Chairman of the Board and Managing General Partner Stephen M.
