Residents struggling to keep up with road repair due to rain damage
CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WDTV) - Residents of River Road in Clarksburg say they’re having trouble with their street every time it rains. “The bank is washing in here, because of the rains and they let them put that driveway up there, and the water comes off of it, and comes across the road and washes the bank out, and causes more flooding,” said Al Bailey, River Road resident.
Grafton High School begins construction on multi-purpose baseball field
GRAFTON, W.Va (WDTV) - The Grafton Bearcats will soon have a new field to call home. Thanks to the Friends of Grafton High School Baseball Organization, which led the fundraising efforts for the new field, Grafton High School has $1.25 million to spend on the construction of the Bearcats’ new baseball field. Kym Gillespie, a member of the fundraiser group, says the support of the community has been the key to advancing the project.
