U.S. Sen. Jeff Merkley scheduled Yamhill County town hall on April 26

U.S. Sen. Jeff Merkley is once again making the rounds to his constituent counties, with a town hall scheduled in Yamhill County this month.

Merkley will visit the McMinnville High School gymnasium at 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, to hear from constituents and speak on his work at the U.S. Capitol.

Since taking office in 2009 the senator has been holding town halls in every Oregon county, every year.

Merkley said in a news release, “I hold a town hall for every Oregon County, every year because there is simply no substitute to hearing directly from folks about the ideas and priorities that matter most to them and their communities.”

Also Friday, Merkley will visit Marion and Polk counties, before traveling to Sherman, Wasco and Hood River counties Saturday and Deschutes and Jefferson counties Sunday.
