Rochester man pleads not guilty to stealing a chemical compound worth thousands of dollars
ROCHESTER, Minn. – An accused chemical thief is pleading not guilty. Eng Kiong Ng, 60 of Rochester, is now scheduled to stand trial starting November 25 for felony theft. A criminal complaint was filed against Ng in February. The Rochester Police Department says Ng was caught on video stealing a chemical compound from his employer, a business located in northwest Rochester. Court documents state the business creates a chemical compound used to cut gemstones and the business owner says large amounts of the compound had gone missing.
Motorcyclist flown to Rochester after crash with tractor east of Hayward
A motorcyclist was flown to Rochester Friday afternoon after a crash with a tractor on 850th Avenue east of Hayward.
