The wind made itself known again on Monday with breezy conditions around the area throughout the day. Winds from the south were sustained at 25-30 mph with gusts anywhere from 40 to 50 mph. Mason City recorded a wind gust of 51 mph while Albert Lea saw lighter gusts, topping out at 33 mph.
