HNS Board votes to raise lunch rates for next school year
HARTINGTON — Meals at Hartington-Newcastle School will be a little more expensive next school year. The Hartington-Newcastle School Board Monday voted to raise student lunch prices by 15 cents for next school year. Lunches for adults will only go up 10 cents, but adult meal prices went up twice last year.
Juniors take down Pender in road game
PENDER — The Hartington Post 4 Junior American Legion baseball team took down Pender here at Dave Nitzschke Field 5-2 on June 10. Breiton Whitmire and Bodie Hochstein combined to scatter just three hits over seven innings with Whitmire picking up the win in relief after Hochstein had delivered over four innings in the start.
