    Andrea Zamurri Ends Career Amongst the Top in School History

    (Maryville, MO) Northwest Missouri State University senior Andrea Zamurri ends career as arguably the best men’s tennis career in Bearcat history.

    Zamurri made the long trek across the Atlantic Ocean coming to Maryville from Reiti, Italy, in 2019 and may have finished his career as the best in program history. Zamurri finished as a four-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-America honoree. Zamurri’s doubles partner Fabien Calloud also claimed All-American status in doubles in 2020. Zamurri finished his career with three consecutive All-American teams in singles. Zamurri also received three consecutive MIAA Player of the Year awards from 2021-2023.

    After graduation, Zamurri will begin his professional career coaching with a couple of former NCAA Division I men’s tennis players Melios Efstathiou from Wake Forest and Dimitrios Azoidis of Texas Tech. Zamurri will be working in Cyprus and will assist Efstathiou and Azoidis as they plan to compete on the ATP tour.

    Zamurri finished his Bearcat career amongst the all-time best in wins ranking 6th all-time in singles wins with 77 and 9th all-time in doubles victories with 64.
