Local man accused of throwing, punching and stomping teenage boy in Southern Lewis County, police say
TURIN- A local man was jailed for allegedly assaulting a teenage boy late last month in Southern Lewis County. The Sheriff’s Office says Michael A. Sovocool, 46, of Turin, NY was arrested last Friday, September 29. He is officially charged with one felony count of assault in the second-degree and one misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Missing Watertown teen found safe
WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - A Watertown teen missing for about a week has been found safe. Watertown police say 14-year-old James Kriegel has been located and safely returned to his family. He went missing on Tuesday, September 26. Police did not say where he was found.
