'Chimney Doe,' Whose Remains Were Found in Wisconsin Music Store Chimney, Gets Identity Back After 34 Years
Ronnie Joe Kirk's remains were found on Sept. 3, 1989, after the owners of a music store discovered a skull visible through a pipe connecting the boiler to the chimney, the DNA Doe Project said.
MPD: Man arrested for fourth OWI after telling police a friend stole his keys
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Madison Police Department says a man was arrested for his fourth OWI Monday night after allegedly reporting his friend stole his keys. At about 7:50 p.m., officers responded to a convenience store along the 4700 block of Lien Road after a man reported a woman stole his keys. MPD says that once officers arrived on scene, the man was allegedly intoxicated.
Three Dane Co. residents charged with lying during firearms purchases
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - In two separate cases, the Wisconsin Department of Justice charged three Dane County residents on Wednesday for lying when purchasing firearms. In the first case, 36-year-old Candice Patterson of Middleton and 19-year-old Deovion Baker of Madison are charged with lying when purchasing two handguns on Sept. 1, 2023 from a Sun Prairie gun store.
