17-year-old shot, injured near Forest Park Saturday night
ST. LOUIS — A 17-year-old was shot and injured in St. Louis' DeBaliviere Place neighborhood Saturday night, police say. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, a teenage girl was shot in the arm around 7:49 p.m. near the intersection of DeBaliviere and Pershing avenues. The shooting occurred just north of Forest Park.
Wood River Police investigating after man discovered dead with gun
MADISON COUNTY, Ill. (First Alert 4) - The Wood River Police Department is investigating after a man was found dead with a gun overnight. According to a release, the police department received multiple 911 calls from people saying they heard a single gunshot around midnight Thursday near the Thompson St. Apartments. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound. Medical personnel tried to treat the injury, but the man was pronounced dead. Police say two people were quickly identified as “having knowledge” of what transpired.

SCOTT CITY, Mo. (KBSI) – A St. Louis man faces a firearms charge in Scott City. Tyreece Martin faces a charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Scott City police officers were dispatched to a home in Scott City around 8:19 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14 for a report of an armed man refusing to leave.
Man gets 22 years in prison for fatal shooting of St. Louis County cab driver
ST. LOUIS — A man who pleaded guilty in the robbery and fatal shooting of a St. Louis County cab driver has been sentenced to 22 years in prison. Trishawn Jones, now 20, was one of four teenagers who pleaded guilty to federal charges in the 2022 death of Dewight Price in Hazelwood.
