    MANSFIELD — It's time to make your vote count.

    Voting for the Mansfield News Journal Female Athlete of the Week is now open.

    Here are your nominees.

    DOWN TO THE WIRE: Which two teams are most likely to win Richland County Softball Power Poll title next week?

    *Ontario’s Eden Howard had three RBIs and earned the win in the circle allowing one hit with three strikeouts in two innings of work in a 5-4 win over Ashland.

    *Mansfield Christian’s Noel Cline threw a no-hitter in a 17-2 win over Liberty Christian with seven strikeouts while also collecting four hits and a home run at the plate. She also had three hits and two RBIs with a homer in a 23-8 win over Central Christian.

    *Lucas’ Maddie Boyer had three hits and three RBIs in a 22-5 win over Central Christian before adding a hit and three RBIS and earning the win in the circle allowing one hit with seven strikeouts in three innings in a 17-0 win over Central.

    *Crestview’s PJ Endicott had nine hits, 10 RBIs and two home runs combined in three Cougar victories.

    *Shelby’s Karlie Walp had eight hits and four RBIs combined in three Whippet victories and also made a game-saving catch in a 13-6 win over Ontario.

    *Clear Fork’s Renee Anders had six hits, nine RBIs and two home runs across three Colts’ victories.

    *Madison’s Kyleigh Reiter had 10 hits, 12 RBIs, two doubles, two triples and a home run across five Rams’ wins including a four-hit, six-RBI, two-triple game in an 11-4 win over Ashland.

    *Lexington’s Rylie McGuire had two hits and five RBIs in an 11-5 win over River Valley.

    *Lexington’s Elyana Weaver won the 400-meter dash at the Galion Kiwanis Invite with a time of 59.64.

    *Lexington’s Emily Thomas won the 300-meter hurdles at the Galion Kiwanis Invite with a time of 48.59.

    *Lucas’ Rebekah Case won the pole vault with a jump of 11-00.00 at the Bob Valentine Invitational.

    Voting ends at 7 p.m. on Friday.

    Last week's Mansfield News Journal Female Athlete of the Week winner was Lucas' Alyssa Shay who piled up 12,682 votes.
