TOMS RIVER — Jackson Memorial High’s lacrosse midfielder Elias Craig has a message for the rest of the Shore. “We’re coming,” said the senior. The message was sent after the Jaguars shocked the Shore on Wednesday with an 11-10 win over Toms River East. Especially considering that Jackson Memorial was 4-4 and were at the bottom half of the Colonial Division heading into the matchup.
Summit Sailing competes at the NJISA Spring Fleet Championships
TOMS RIVER, NJ -- The SHS Sailing Team competed at the NJISA Spring Fleet Championships this past weekend at Toms River Yacht Club. Brady Parkes, Brynn Penque, Grace Penque, Elena Carranza, Elodie Hellmuth, and Michael Creel represented SHS. Over the course of this two-day qualifier, the team’s A and B boats battled through 22 races in conditions that shifted dramatically from cloudy to sunny, from 50 degrees to 70 degrees, and from no wind to white caps and back again to no wind. Nonetheless, it was a fun weekend and the team learned a lot."
