MADISON, Wis. -- A 37-year-old Madison man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into five businesses in the city.

Detectives with the Burglary Crime Unit have linked Ulysses J. Miilu to these burglaries.

According to police, the burglaries occurred between mid and late January.

Police say three of the businesses were located on Monroe Street, one along the 400 block W. Gilman St. and one along the 2400 block of University Ave.

Miilu was arrested without incident in Rusk County.

Madison police say the original incident took place on January 31, where an employee called for police to find someone broke into their workplace.

Officers were called to a restaurant along the 400 block of W. Gilman Street.

The front of the door of the restaurant was missing and cash register trays were missing.
