Pedestrian dies after being struck on the Beltline
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – One man has died after being struck by a vehicle on the Beltline late Friday night, the Madison Police Dept. confirmed in an update Monday. Emergency crews responded shortly after 11 p.m. to the eastbound lanes near the Whitney Way interchange, the MPD report stated. They took life-saving measures, but the 58-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Madison man given 13-year federal prison sentence for heroin dealing

Corn milling company pleads guilty to making false statements in safety and environmental records following mill explosion
Didion Milling Inc. pleaded guilty to criminal charges in federal court in Madison, Wisconsin. As part of a plea agreement, the company has agreed to pay a total of $1 million in criminal fines and $10.25 million in restitution to victims of a May 31, 2017, catastrophic explosion at its Cambria, Wisconsin, corn mill facility. Five Didion Milling employees were killed in that explosion and others were injured.
