Cold Start To Weekend
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Calm conditions as we head into the weekend but a First Alert to prepare for some cold and frosty nights. A Freeze Warning is in place through Saturday morning with patchy frost possible again Saturday night into Sunday morning. The good news is that a warming trend during the daytime hours will get us back to around 60 by the end of the weekend with plenty of sunshine. A more active pattern arrives next week with several chances for wet weather and storms. At this point in time, no severe weather is expected.
Traffic delays expected for Midwest Horse Fair
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is informing people in the Madison area to expect traffic delays during the Midwest Horse Fair this weekend. Significant traffic volume is expected around the Alliant Energy Center this Friday and Saturday. MONONA, Wis. (WMTV) - An alleged stolen vehicle went over 100mph westbound on the Beltline Tuesday afternoon, reports the Monona Police Department. At about 1:20 p.m., MOPD says its officers received a report of an outside agency pursing a vehicle that was allegedly stolen at gunpoint in the City of Madison.
