Parks Kiwanis Club hosts 2024 Pork Chop Day
LOVES PARK, Ill. (WIFR) - Hundreds of Pinnon’s pork chop orders were fulfilled Saturday at the 2024 Pork Chop Day drive through. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., hungry travelers can line up at the Loves Park City Hall, 100 Heart Boulevard, to grab a meal and support a local organization. The Parks Kiwanis Club’s Pork Chop Day proceeds will benefit children from GiGi’s Playhouse, Walter Lawson Children’s Home, Carlson Boys and Girls Club, the Northern Illinois Food Bank, A Mother’s Love and college scholarships.
