Troy baseball left out of NCAA tournament field of 64
Troy was left out of the 2024 NCAA baseball tournament field announced, ending the Trojans’ season. Troy was third in the Sun Belt Conference regular-season standings with an 18-12 league record, and went 37-22 overall. Included in that were a sweep of Coastal Carolina (which made the tournament as an at-large team), a series win over Sun Belt regular-season champion Louisiana, and a non-conference series win over NCAA at-large team Indiana.
