Troy adds all-conference FCS safety as transfer for 2024
Troy picked up a 2024 transfer portal commitment Wednesday from Ian Conerly-Goodly, a safety formerly at FCS program Southeastern Louisiana. Conerly-Goodly was an All-Southland Conference pick for the Lions in 2023, when he totaled a team-best 109 tackles, along with six tackles for loss, an interception and a forced fumble as a sophomore. The Covington, La., native has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

(JMU Athletics) – James Madison baseball and Troy combined to score 24 runs, but it was the Dukes who came out on top in the series opener by a score of 14-10 on Thursday night at Riddle-Pace Field. Getting your Trinity Audio player ready... The Pike Liberal Arts Patriots golf team finished runner-up in the AHSAA 1A-2A State Golf Tournament in Muscle Shoals this week. Over the two days, Pike Lib shot a team score of 476, finishing in second place just six strokes behind state champion Sand Mountain. On day one, Pike Lib shot a team score of 323. Jackson Cleveland shot a 75 for the Patriots, while Braden Prestwood shot 76, Ford Hussey shot 85, Bryant Swindwall shot 87 and Sawyer Keck shot 97.
