Softball Recap: Williamsport has no trouble against Lewisburg
After only two runs in their last game, Williamsport made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lewisburg on Monday. The Williamsport Millionaires put the hurt on the Lewisburg Green Dragons with a sharp 11-1 win. For Williamsport, this counts as revenge for the 6-2 defeat Lewisburg walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.
Central Mountain Softball falls to South Williamsport Area 5 – 2
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT-Despite out hitting their opponent, Central Mountain fell to South Williamsport by a score of 2-5. South Williamsport did most of their scoring in the first inning when they sent 9 batters to plate and collected five hits, including a home run that slammed off the scoreboard in left field. The Mounties added thier only other run of the game in the second inning.

Williamsport entered their tilt with Midd-West with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victor by a 16-2 margin over the Midd-West Mustangs on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Williamsport also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.
