Former Los Angeles Lakers superstar Magic Johnson has been following the Lakers' journey throughout the season. The ups and downs behind LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Darvin Ham.

Johnson went to X to speak on the Lakers' series against the Denver Nuggets. L.A. is currently down 3-1 in the series, but Johnson believes it'll turn into a competitive bout after Monday night. He's predicting a massive upset for Los Angeles, playing on the road.

The Lakers haven't fared well at Ball Arena, but momentum is on their side. After losing to the Nuggets in 11 straight games, they grabbed their first victory in nearly a year.

If the Lakers were to pull off an improbable victory in Denver, they would head back to Los Angeles to face the defending champions in Game 6.

Johnson sees this series extending and he's giving a lot of Lakers fans a lot of confidence heading into an elimination game.

"Laker Nation - I'm feeling good about the Lakers today! They have great momentum going into tonight’s game, and I think they're going to win tonight!," said Johnson, via X.
