Deptford, NJ cop shot on duty still fighting in ICU
DEPTFORD — More than two weeks after being critically injured in the line of duty, a New Jersey cop is still recovering in the ICU. Deptford police officer Bobby Shisler was shot while pursuing a suspect on foot on March 10, according to the state Attorney General's Office. The other man, identified as 24-year-old Mitchell Negron Jr., of Deptford, was shot dead at the scene. Authorities said they recovered a Taurus .38 special revolver, which was not Shisler's service weapon.

Camden Man, 21, Shot to Death on Sunday Afternoon
CAMDEN, NJ – A 21-year-old shooting victim was found by officers from the Camden County Police Department on Sunday afternoon at 3100 Alabama Road and taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he died. Daijohn Spaulding of Camden was discovered when police responded about 2:40 p.m. to an activation of the department's ShotSpotter, which monitors gunshots and provides police with a location, according to the department and the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. Spaulding was pronounced dead at Cooper at 3:01 p.m. Spaulding's death is the sixth homicide in Camden this year, according to the Prosecutor's Office. Last year, Camden had 28 homicides. The investigation is ongoing, according to the Prosecutor's Office, and anyone with information should contact either Detective Jeremy Jankowski of the Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit at (856) 397-3485 or Detective Vincent Russomanno of the police department at (609) 941-9517. Berks woman sentenced for role in multi-county gun trafficking network
NORRISTOWN — A Berks County woman faces a combination of jail time, house arrest and probation for illegally purchasing firearms for a multi-county gun trafficking network. Makayla Prince, 24, of the 300 block of Sunset Road, West Reading, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 6 to 23 months in the county jail after she pleaded guilty to charges of corrupt organizations, dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, making materially false written statements, illegal sale or transfer of firearms and conspiracy in connection with the gun trafficking network that operated in Montgomery, Berks, Bucks, Lancaster and Philadelphia counties between June 2019 and February 2021.
