Ballet Sunmi is a dance studio started by Sun-Mi Cho that has been making big moves over the last three years.

Growing up as a Korean adoptee, she seeks to make every stage inclusive for all ages and cultural backgrounds.

"Adult dancers and teen dancers and four-year-olds, they can share the stage together," she says. "Some of the teen students mentor their children and everybody is working together and collectively to put something together like 'Lunar Dreams."

Lunar Dreams is an original story that students within the studio performed at the Moore College of Art and Design.

"It's a really inclusive art form and it doesn't matter what your body type is," Cho says. "it matters where you start and then how you're going to progress. And for some kids, it's gaining confidence."

These Ritz Cracker Sandwiches Vanish Before the Party Starts

Ritz Party Sandwiches transform familiar buttery crackers into warm, savory appetizers that are exactly the right size for grabbing from a crowded table. Cheese and flavorful sandwich fillings sit between pairs of crackers, creating miniature bites with a crisp exterior and rich center. As they bake, the cheese melts, the filling warms, and the crackers become even more aromatic without losing the delicate texture that makes Ritz crackers so recognizable. Each small sandwich delivers salt, butter, cheese, and savory flavor in one or two bites, which explains why people rarely stop after taking only one. The recipe does not require elaborate pastry, specialty bread, or hours of preparation, yet the completed tray looks more thoughtful than simply opening a box of crackers. It is party food built around convenience without tasting like the cook took an obvious shortcut.

Remember the White Candy That Seemed to Appear in Every Grandma’s Christmas Tin?

Divinity is one of those old-fashioned candies that can instantly bring back a kitchen you haven’t stood in for years. Light, fluffy, and almost cloud-like, it’s nothing like dense fudge or chewy caramel. The outside sets with a delicate finish while the center stays soft and airy, with that unmistakable melt-away sweetness that made it a holiday candy-table favorite. It looks deceptively simple, but anyone who grew up watching a grandmother, aunt, or church-supper expert make a batch probably remembers there was a little technique involved. When it turns out right, those snowy spoonfuls look beautiful piled onto a platter—and somehow taste even better after you’ve spent years wondering why people stopped making them.

Five Minutes Is Apparently All This Fudge Needs

Homemade fudge sounds like the kind of candy that requires thermometers, precise timing, and a family secret guarded for several generations. This five-minute version refuses to cooperate with that reputation. It delivers rich chocolate flavor, a smooth texture, and the satisfying density of traditional fudge without turning the kitchen into a confectionery laboratory. The mixture comes together quickly on the stove, leaving the chilling time to handle most of the actual work. Once set, it cuts into neat little squares that look perfectly at home in a holiday candy tin or piled on a dessert tray. The chocolate is deep enough to satisfy a serious craving, while the small portions keep the richness manageable—at least until someone reaches for another piece. It is the kind of recipe that makes you wonder why fudge ever felt intimidating in the first place.

This Strawberry Dessert Never Goes Near the Oven

Strawberry Delight earns its name by turning a few familiar ingredients into a creamy dessert that looks far more involved than it really is. A ready-made graham cracker crust supports a light cream cheese filling, while a glossy layer of fresh strawberries adds bright color and juicy fruit flavor. The combination gives you buttery crumbs, smooth filling, and fresh berries in every forkful without asking you to bake cake layers or manage a complicated cheesecake. Because the dessert is chilled, it tastes especially refreshing when the weather is warm and a heavy baked dessert feels unnecessary. The strawberries remain the visual star, but the tang from the cream cheese keeps their sweetness balanced and makes the finished dessert taste richer than an ordinary fruit pie.

This Old-Fashioned Cake Still Knows How to Get Attention

Spanish Bar Cake has the warm, familiar character of something discovered on a handwritten recipe card tucked inside an old kitchen drawer. The cake is soft, gently sweet, and filled with cozy spices that make each slice feel especially appropriate beside a cup of coffee. Its rectangular layers and cream cheese frosting give it the charm of a neighborhood bakery dessert rather than an elaborate modern showpiece. The frosting contributes tang and richness, balancing the spices and ensuring that the cake feels celebratory without needing complicated decoration. Every bite combines tender crumb, fragrant spice, and smooth cream cheese in a way that recalls the desserts people remember from childhood grocery stores, church suppers, and family gatherings. It does not depend on trendy ingredients or dramatic colors to earn attention; the aroma and old-fashioned flavor handle that responsibility remarkably well.

Three Ingredients Shouldn’t Turn Into Fudge This Creamy, but Somehow They Do

Fudge has a reputation for candy thermometers, careful timing, and recipes that can go wrong if you look away at the wrong moment. This three-ingredient version skips most of that drama. With just a few simple ingredients and no oven required, it sets into rich, smooth squares with that dense, melt-in-your-mouth texture people expect from homemade fudge. There’s no long baking session and no complicated ingredient list hiding behind the word “easy.” Just creamy chocolate sweetness that can be sliced into little pieces once it’s chilled and firm. It’s the kind of recipe that makes you wonder why homemade candy ever needed to become an all-day kitchen project.
