There are restaurants you go to for dinner, and then there are restaurants that make dinner an occasion. Georgie falls firmly into the second category. Walk into the beloved Knox-Henderson restaurant, and it’s the atmosphere that gets you first. Warm orange tones glow against light wood, velvet couches beg you to sit back and stay awhile, and the room has an easy buzz — couples sipping Champagne, friends clinking cocktail glasses after a long workweek and the occasional plume of smoke drifting across the room from a smoked old fashioned. It’s polished and glamorous without feeling like you need a special occasion to enjoy it. And these days, there’s something new happening in the kitchen. After a particularly eventful year that saw Georgie cycle through two executive chefs, Stephan Courseau's Travis Street Hospitality turned to someone who was already in its orbit: Bruno Davaillon. The French chef and culinary director took over the kitchen and unveiled a new menu in March 2026, bringing the restaurant back to the sort of polished, ingredient-driven cooking that has long been part of its identity. Thousands of cases of canned dog food sold across the United States are being recalled because the products may contain metal. Wisconsin-based Fromm Family Foods is recalling 3,852 cases of Fromm Turkey Pate Wet Dog Food and 1,973 cases of Fromm Diner Classics Milo's Meatloaf Pate Wet Dog Food. The company announced the recall on August 21, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration published the alert the same day.
