GUSB Chairman: High school bond meant to address the most pressing issues
I’d like to give the public an account of how we arrived at this high school bond and increased building reserve levies. Lincoln boiler and the multitude of issues with elementary schools was the original focus of the first couple facilities committee meetings. The temporary solution for the Lincoln boiler is to rent a remote boiler while formulating a long-term solution for the elementary schools. Our primary goal is to keep the doors open, to keep from going remote. Also, keeping in mind the taxpayer.

FWP Already Finding Grizzly Bear Tracks in Western Montana
Maybe if we text them next week's weather forecast for western Montana, they'll hit the snooze button and stay in bed awhile longer. With daytime highs forecast to be in the single digits by the middle of next week, it's not going to feel like it should be time for grizzly bears to be coming out of hibernation. But apparently, there's been enough milder days to get them to start stirring, at least a few weeks ahead of normal.
