Warsaw man charged with stealing telecommunications line in Benton County

WARSAW, Mo - A Warsaw man is facing multiple stealing charges in Benton County for theft of telecommunications wire over the past month in Warsaw. According to a probable cause statement, on October 12th, members of the Benton County Sheriff's Office began an investigation into wire belonging to Bright Speed being cut in the area of Warsaw Avenue. The wire had been cut and removed from multiple utility poles throughout the area. A debit card bearing the name of Danny Rank was found on the ground below where the wire was stolen. The investigation indicated that Rank had a GPS Ankle Monitor that showed he was in the area between October 9th and 10th.
