Benton County man seriously injured in three-vehicle crash east of Versailles
Three people are injured, one seriously, in a three-vehicle crash in Morgan County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Steven Evans, 59, of Cole Camp, was riding in a pickup truck Wednesday afternoon about five miles east of Versailles when his vehicle was struck from behind. The patrol says the driver of Evans’ vehicle, Jonathan Noegel, 56, of Stover, had stopped to make a left turn off of Route C when he was struck in the rear by a car. The impact caused the rear of the car to rotate, striking a SUV.
Warsaw Man Injured In Hit And Run On HWY 65 Bridge
The highway patrol is looking into a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian with serious injuries in Benton County. The report indicates that it happened just before 10:00 Monday night along southbound Highway-65, on the Osage River bridge, when 39-year-old Troy Ethridge, of Warsaw, was hit by an unknown vehicle while walking on the shoulder.
Eleven acres of a field in Climax Springs burned in natural cover fire
Eleven acres of land are burned when a natural cover fire reignites in Camden County. The Northwest Fire Protection District says crews were called for a smoke investigation in the area of Highway Z and Coffman Bend Road in Climax Springs just after 2:00 yesterday afternoon. Crews found a large trash pile burning and about one acre of a field on fire. The fire was put out, no injuries were reported, and crews cleared the scene by 4:30.
Camdenton Man Dead Following Monday Night Accident
A 53-year-old Camdenton died following a single vehicle accident at 5:02 last night, on Route D, North of Tonka Springs Road, in Camden County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by Kirk J. Rogers, ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree. Rogers was pronounced deceased at the scene.
