One person injured Monday in traffic accident at intersection of 12th Street, U.S. 24
QUINCY — One person was injured in a two-vehicle traffic crash on Monday. Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department responded to the crash (the time was not noted in a press release) at the intersection of 12th Street and U.S. 24. Matthew Fleck was driving a black 2019 Dodge minivan south on U.S. 24. Angela Hendrix was stopped in her black 2021 Honda passenger car at the intersection of 12th Street and U.S. 24.

QUINCY — A months-long investigation by the West Central Illinois Task Force led to the arrest of two people on Monday on drugs and weapons charges. The West Central Illinois Task Force, Illinois State Police, Adams County Sheriff’s Department and Quincy Police Department began investigating in early 2024 the sale of heroin in Quincy. Officers identified Latwaon McCray, 42, of Quincy as a possible target.
