LIBERTY, Ohio (WKBN) — Kids in the Liberty Local School District got a special delivery Wednesday.

Local nonprofit Shots for Tots donated 21 bicycles to students at Liberty’s Pre-K to 6 school.

The organization hosted fundraisers throughout the year to raise money. Shots for Tots also donates bikes at Christmas through the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots Program.

“It just fills your heart. When you see the smiles and the happiness on their face, it just makes the day. Nothing can go wrong for me today,” said Debbie Minniti, vice president of Shots for Tots.

The project started about 12 years ago. Each year, between 300 and 400 bikes are donated.
