Summer creative academy performs ‘Newsies’ June 21
LIBERTY — Many people may think of football players or baseball teams as the epitome of teamwork, but a significant amount of teamwork is underway with Liberty Public Schools’ Creative Arts Academy. In three weeks, around 90 middle-schoolers, plus a handful of teachers and student interns with Liberty Public Schools started from the beginning of a musical process with auditions to the pending performance of Disney’s “Newsies Jr.” at 6 p.m. Friday, June 21, at Liberty North High School.
