North Dakota State and head coach Dave Richman have added some length through the transfer portal, grabbing Illinois State transfer Luke Kasubke. The 6-foot-5 190-pound guard has one year of eligibility remaining after spending his first two seasons playing at Kansas State and the two most recent at Illinois State. Kasubke made 18 starts over his Redbird career and playing in 53 games. He averaged 7.2 points per game in 21 games in 2022-23 but saw his minutes fall from 29.2 to 17.6 this season and scored just 4.0 PPG. He entered the transfer portal on April 30, less than two days before it closed.
