Student charged after threatening mass violence to a WS/FCS middle school on social media, deputies say
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A student has been charged after making a threat against a Winston-Salem/Forsyth County middle school on social media Monday. The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said they received a notification about a threat against Wiley Middle School in Winston-Salem, sparking an investigation. Once deputies and officials were able to identify the student responsible for the post, they charged them with one count of Communicating Threats of Mass Violence on Educational Property.
