    North Carolina couple arrested after 112 pieces of stolen property allegedly found on property, police say

    LENOIR, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Lenoir couple was arrested following an investigation that resulted in the recovery of 112 pieces of allegedly stolen property.

    According to the Lenoir Police Department, its officers were joined by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office in an investigation for a series of breaking and entering incidents. A search warrant was executed on April 12 in a home in the 400 block of Realty Street, where authorities say they found $12,000 worth of stolen property.

    Officers say the investigation solved five incidents of breaking and entering at various locations within Lenoir and Caldwell County. In total, 112 pieces of stolen property were recovered.

    David Lackey, 46, was arrested on scene and was later logged into the Caldwell County Jail. He was charged with:

    • Breaking and entering.
    • Larceny after breaking and entering
    • Possession of stolen property
    • Two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon
    • Habitual felon

    Lackey is being held on a $250,000 secured bond.

    Crystal Dawn Olsen was arrested on two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon. She is being held on a $10,000 secured bond.

    The agencies will continue to investigate these cases; more arrests and charges are anticipated.
