The third Battle of the Bridge baseball confrontation lived up to the hype as Lenoir City and Loudon competed in a back-and-forth extra inning District 5-3A matchup at LCHS Friday. Oak Ridge High School tennis teams end season; District 4 tourney is this week
Both Oak Ridge High School tennis teams ended their regular season April 25 against Bearden High School on the public courts near Jackson Square. The Wildcats lost 3-6 and the Lady Wildcats 0-9 to the Bulldogs. Senior Jacob Proffitt and sophomore Billy Bennett were responsible for all three Wildcat points, coach David Bowman said in a news release.
