🍋Dealing with the aftermath and impacts of Cutrale's closure

“One hundred-plus people without jobs is obviously disconcerting,” Leesburg City Manager Al Minner said in the wake of last week's announcement that the Cutrale citrus plant is closing down.

The city has individual service agreements with the company, and the gas contract is complex.

“Leesburg has a loss exposure of about $400,000 annually, for capacity reservations that will not be used by Cutrale,” Minner added.

Find out how Leesburg's city manager plans to help the citizens left jobless as a result of the plant's closing.
