Hershey Theatre announces Apollo Awards nominations for high school musicals
The Hershey Theatre has announced the nominations for the 16th Annual Apollo Awards today. This year’s ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 19, at 7 p.m. Similar to the Tony Awards, the Apollo Awards gives recognition to the cast and crew of various central Pennsylvania high school musicals. During the award show the nominees will perform monologues and songs from their school’s show.
Hershey Gardens showcases wide variety of trees for Arbor Day
HERSHEY, Pa. — Hershey Gardens is celebrating Arbor Day this weekend by providing special tours of its vast number of tree species and scenic areas. The tours run Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include walks through spots such as the Arboretum and Japanese Garden, with trees ranging from local varieties to Redwoods from California.
