Whoa! S-F Historical Society Adds 1916 Carousel Horse
ROYERSFORD PA – You can almost hear a whinny from the newest addition to the Spring-Ford Area Historical Society museum. The society recently bought an 1916 riding horse figure that was part of the carousel at the former Lakeview Amusement Park, once located off U.S. Route 422 in Royersford, its newsletter reported. The society offered the winning bid for the horse at an auction. Its price was not disclosed.
