911 lines restored in Laclede County after lightning strikes

UPDATE 9:01 PM – The Laclede County Sheriff’s Office says their 911 lines are back up.

The Lebanon Rural Fire Protection District added that crews are still trying to recover Lebanon Police Department phone lines and that residents should call 417-533-7497 or *55 if there are still any issues.

LACLEDE COUNTY, Mo. — The Laclede County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) says that recent lightning strikes in the area have wiped out 911 lines, dispatch lines and the LCSO phone line.

According to the LCSO, there are crews currently working to fix the lines and have them back up as soon as possible.

While the dispatch and 911 lines are out, residents can contact the jail at 417-533-7497 or *55 to receive help.
