Joe Biden's Reelection Quote Turned Heads During Las Vegas Aces White House Visit

Current U.S. President Joe Biden wouldn't mind following in the Las Vegas Aces' footsteps this coming fall.

On Thursday, Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris welcomed the defending WNBA champions to the White House to celebrate their second straight title.

“You simply inspire people across our nation and around the world,” Harris said during the event, according to AP News .

Biden, before sharing some kind words about women's sports, began his commentary by firing off a witty reelection joke during the celebration. The moment was captured in a clip posted to social media this afternoon.

"I kinda like that back-to-back stuff," Biden said, referencing his ongoing reelection campaign.

Per AP News, Biden referred to this past year as a " banner year " for women's basketball during the Aces' White House visit.

"It matters to girls and women, finally seeing themselves represented," Biden said, via AP News . "It matters to all Americans. That’s why as a nation, we need to support women’s sports."
