On Thursday, the community of Oxford remembered two years to the day when four children were killed during a school shooting.

• Avion Sanders has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of 18-year-old Jacob Hills in 2022. • Jacob Hills, who had just graduated from Grand Blanc High School, was reported missing on July 24, 2022, and was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the basement of a Detroit home on July 25, 2022.

• A missing man, Jason Anthony Thompson, was found dead in the ventilation system of a building on Macomb Community College's campus. • The Oxford High School shooter's sentencing hearing is set to begin in one week, and he is facing a possible sentence of life in prison without parole.

VIENNA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJRT) - Police believe a 36-year-old man from the Clio area was speeding when he sustained critical injuries in a crash Thursday night. The Genesee County Sheriff's Office says the driver from Thetford Township, who was not identified, was driving a Honda Element in the 9000 block of Neff Road between Clio and Mt. Morris when he lost control around 9:50 p.m.
