Hiawatha Community Foundation Highlights: About Ruby Slipper Goat Rescue
My name is Lisa Thompson, and I have owned and operated Ruby Slipper Goat Rescue in Northeast Kansas since 2016. Ruby Slipper Goat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and has a fund for the rescue during the 2024 Hiawatha Community Foundation Match Days. This rescue was created out of the need for a rescue for farmed animals in the Midwest, specifically goats.
