Missouri State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick’s office launched an audit into the Independence School District’s finances and student performance this month. It’s one of three ongoing school audits. His office started reviews of the Kingston School District in Washington County in February, and St. Charles County’s Francis Howell School District in April.
2 more customers sue Hereford House after employee is charged with contaminating food
More customers have filed a lawsuit against a Leawood restaurant after an employee was charged with contaminating food earlier this month. Two residents of Jackson County, Missouri, both listed as plaintiffs in the lawsuit, are alleging that owners of Hereford House are responsible for food poisoning that they suffered from on April 18, 2024, after eating lunch at the restaurant.
